A new research conducted on school children all over Denmark by the Danish Science Communication and the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen now suggests that boys need 20% more sweetness in the food to recognize it as tasty!!
The findings also shows that girls have are better at recognizing tastes than boys. Boys also preferred wilder and more extreme flavours,whereas the girls preferred more muted flavours.
So,the next time your BF/hubby get's you a box of chocolates you can give him "that" I know-it-all smile!!

I made Rasmalai last week and everything was fine with me and with the guest (lady) whom we visited... but he was totally unhappy cos he thought it was not sweet!!! Now understand why!!!

Ya. I can see that. I thought I had a bad sweet tooth. Now that I think of it. my little cousin (boy) ate three bars of chocolate I gave him on the same day.
My bf has a HUGE sweet tooth, but I swear he is rare! I have met so many men who don't even like sweets, and I feel like a lot of my girlfriends' bfs don't like them. Sometimes I wish Nick wasn't as addicted to sugar as me, but other times it's kind of fun :) He did buy me chocolate once, but it was dark chocolate (which he hates) so I knew it was for me and me only!

I can easily believe that boys have sweeter tooth that girls but would the results be the same for grown men? My husband had a huge sweet tooth when he was a boy but he really doesn't care so much for sweets at all now.
