I'm so thrilled with this gadget. I love pineapples but absolutely HATE cutting pineapples. My hubby and I always hesitate when buying pineapples(he hates cutting them too), so when he told me he saw a pineapple cutter and a mango cutter(why would anyone need a mango cutter-it's so easy to cut),I had to check it out!! So veni, vidi and I bought it !!
It's so easy,and there's absolutely no mess. You also get a beautiful pineapple shell to use as a bowl for all the wonderful dishes that you can make with pineapples!!

I love this! Our grocer sells pre-cored pineapples for the same price as the whole ones though so i usually just go with that. i actually do want the mango cutter - I can never managed to cut them without them turning to mush on me!
WOW, I must have this pineapple cutter...like you I love pineapple, but I always avoid getting them because of the cutting. Where did you get it! Thanks in advance.

Really a great find...Pineapple cutting is my hubby job..With this I guess I will cut the pineapple like a pro..
This is very cool for those who are leary of cutting pineapples...I for one (I'm kinda weird) actually love cutting pineapples...probably because I do it so often, both at home and at work, that I could do it in my sleep. I'm always "teaching" people how to cut a pineapple...maybe I'll just point them towards one of these from now on, LOL!!! :D

You need horsegram for it.
Add water to it and boil for 15-30 minutes.Drain the water and squeeze out the juices if any from the horsegram(vulavalu).Throw away the pulp.
Boil the drained juice adding tamarind pulp,onion,turmeric,red chilli powder,salt,curry leaves,garlic.
After it becomes thicker do the seasoning.

When I was young, the store had a cutter like this so you could take home ready-to-eat pineapple. Now I never see those...this is great!
My husband loves to cut his own pineapple, because he thinks the pineapple cutter misses some. His mother on the other hand has difficulty cutting it, so this was a perfect Christmas gift for her this year.
