Chicken nuggets anyone????

Has anyone watched Jamie Olivier's "Food Revolution"? It's quite an eye opener. The program not only shows the loopholes in the recommendation for school lunches but also gives an insight to the ingredients and methods used by the food industry for packaged foods.
Here is the inside story of commercially prepared chicken nuggets:

To know more check out his website: http://www.jamieoliver.com/
Q: Would you buy a pack of chicken nuggets after watching the video?

Watch the show. It's an eye opener for everyone. It shows how the school meals have gone from being healthy to plain disgusting and yet it falls well under the government’s guidelines for a balanced meal. According to the government, pizzas for breakfast is A-OK since it contains most of the food groups in the food pyramid. Here's another shocker - Not many of you would consider French fries as a vegetable but as per the government that counts towards your daily intake of 'vegetables'.

EWWWWWW
I won't buy chicken nuggets after watching Food Inc. That was the last straw for me (not that I buy them anyway).

I am sure this is a reason I became a vegetarian. I actually never liked meat as a kid, so I just stopped eating it. Chicken nuggets were one of the last things I stopped eating (around age 11) and I am glad we didn't do much fast food when we were kids. I do like to eat the Morningstar farms nuggets although I wish those were just a tad lower in fat.

GROSS! Big question - how do we even begin to regulate these kinds of things in India's McD ? And my next question - How do we go about teaching our kids about making healthy choices?

I've been watching the show too. I'm impressed with his dedication. The food those children were eating is crazy. How can you expect them to do well when they eat sugar and fat for lunch? Food Inc was great too!

I know that they make sausages and pate from all leftovers they get from animals, but I didn't know that with nuggets is the same. Wow, I'll never eat already prepared nuggets anymore! Thank you Jamie for letting me know.
